Web Hosting

In researching web hosts I checked out very many sites I found through different search engines.  Looking briefly at several of them as I was looking around gave me a feel for some of the names involved.  As I found substantive sites with thought out recommendations I learned more about the various options available.  First there was the option of free or paid web hosting.  The price is obviously the main advantage of the free hosting.  However, as I am planning on keeping this site for some time and hopefully expanding upon it I wanted to make sure I had upgrade options available.  As the aim of my project is to make a profit on a site I want a host that will make it easy to monetize the site.  This also means that I am looking for a site that will be fast and dependable.  I could just host the site on my own computer but there are several reasons that does not appeal to me.  First, if I got a lot of traffic(which is the hope) it could easily overload my home computer or result in very slow transmission times for users.  This would not be optimum for attracting and keeping users.  For the best choice in these matters it seems to me that a paid host is my only real option. After deciding on a paid host I then had to find which one was the best fit for my needs.  As I said earlier I checked out a lot of review sites.  Two of these sites stood out in the depth of their reviews and the resources they made available for checking into what your needs are and which site fills them the best.  The two sites are, (link deleted by request) and, http://top-10-web-hosting.com/.  I found these to be the best review sites I found.  Both offered resources to learn about web hosting. After doing my preliminary research, I narrowed my choices down to two candidates.  These were InMotion.com and WebHostingHub.com.  InMotion is known as a very good business site with a lot of room for upgrading as they go all the way to dedicated servers if needed.  They also are set up very well for e-commerce which is a factor in my decision.  WebHostingHub is known as a very good budget and blogging site.  Both sites had very many positive endorsements around the Internet.  When I got to checking out what each would cost me and the details of what each offered the ability to upgrade influenced my decision.  I found that due to some sales there was only a difference of about a dollar a month at the current time.  This enabled me to decide on InMotion as my web host.  They were only a dollar more a month for their launch plan to get started.  That allows for me to have two sites and up to 25 sub-domains and they pay for my first domain name.  I have to pay for a year in advance so it cost me $83.40 to get started.  That does include my first domain name which will be eat-the-rich.org.  That will be my site about the bad effects the plutocracy is having on our society.  My other site will be about the process of building these sites to try to make a profit on the Internet.  Between the two I shall hopefully make a profit on one or both of them.  Making a profit on either one would prove my concept and be a success.
